This degree offers a new priority pathway to graduate entry into medicine at Notre Dame, with places in the Doctor of Medicine program reserved for top performing Notre Dame biomedical science graduates who aspire to pursue a career in medicine.
A priority pathway from this degree into the Master of Physiotherapy at Notre Dame is now also in place, with places reserved for high performing graduates of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science degrees.

There are no practicum or internship requirements applicable to the Bachelor of Biomedical Science Award. In the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, industry-relevant skills are taught in the Biomedical Science Techniques and Practicum course.
