FAQs about your ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½application number and PIN

When you complete the personal details section of your application, you’ll be emailed your nine-digit ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½application number. Your Confirmation of Application, which you can download once your application is complete, will also include your ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½application number.
You'll need to quote your application number any time you contact UAC.
Current Year 12 students need to enter their Year 12 student number and ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½PIN early in their application.
If you’re a 2025 NSW HSC or ACT Year 12 applicant, your PIN is emailed to you on 2 April 2025. Check that you're using the correct number. If you are a 2025 NSW HSC student, check that you are using your ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½PIN and not your NESA PIN.
If you haven't received the email, call us on (+61 2) 9752 0200 between 8.30am and 4.30pm (Sydney time) Monday to Friday.
If you're a Year 12 applicant from another state, your ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½PIN is the first four digits of your date of birth. For example, if your birthday is 3 October, your ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½PIN is 0310; if your birthday is 17 May, your ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½PIN is 1705.
